WHITE OUT (Day 28 and Day 29)

(Here we are sharing/counting UP Forty Days and Forty Nights of our lives, our last on the inner-west side of town and, eventually, some of our first on the other (far) side of town, where we envisage some big changes coming our way. Thanks for joining us as we remember, celebrate and experience gratitude for our time here, and sometimes feel completely overwhelmed and exhausted by the changes underway!)

DAY 28
Much of Saturday was spent here at the Spring Fair. Over the years, it's become a regular November outing for our family, though this year we were minus Dada. We never tire of being at the school with my niece and nephew, watching them socialise with their friends, sharing in their performances and seeing their latest work on display in their classrooms. And this year, we had the pleasure of enjoying the day with a big cousin too!

And then it was off to the new house, just under 4 kilometres/under ten minutes away (woohoo!), to 'enjoy' a spot of painting with friends.

DAY 29

The painting begins, the playing continues - the chickens were chased (and hugged), balls were kicked onto the roof (and repeatedly removed by a kind, helpful big cousin), water was splashed (the kids located all the outdoor taps!) and plenty of 'water-painting' was undertaken. Plenty of photos below...seemed the easiest way in my post-weekend stupor!
